![]() I wanted to be right, I wanted this not to work because I know it's pricey. This seriously went from a balm to a powder finish making my shine go away. I used this as a mattifying touch up, because I know I could not wear this by itself, my skin would not allow for that.So after a day out I took out this beautiful palette and rubbed the sponge around in the product and tapped it onto my skin where it was oily. I also had some reservations about the Blur Perfector because of other balms that I have tried both high end and drugstore that promised similar effects. I find that the blur is true, because my pores and wrinkles are a lot less noticeable when I use this primer. I realized that I was using too much and cut back you still can't tell that I have used it every day. However, this little bottle will last a very long time. I love this primer and when it comes time for me to buy a full size I will. All of my products blended in without issue, and even after a few hours of wear I didn't see any issues with oil. I immediately noticed that nothing was sitting under my eyes in the fine lines. My skin felt soft but not a trace of oil or grease left on my skin. I am so happy to report that it blended in completely. ![]() I took a pea sized amount and rubbed it into my skin and gave it about 30-45 seconds. I don't want more oils on my face, so I was hesitant to try it out. ![]() This primer also contains 4 oils(corn oil, apricot oil, passiflora oil, and rice bran oil ) which initially was a concern for me because well I am very oily in the summer. I am only giving it 4 stars as I am not personally a fan of the silicone feel of this sort of primer and don't actually use it that much as I prefer a lighter, more radiant finish that I can achieve with products that don't require a primer like this.ĭefinitely recommend this if you are often wearing a long lasting matte foundation that may need a bit of a hydrated boost/radiance layered underneath. This Blur Primer has gold flecks that you can see in the product but do not show up on the skin when rubbed in. In which case if you are using the foundation, you probably wouldn't find this primer quite so helpful on oilier skin as others have said it tends to actually make them oilier. That being said, the All Hours foundation is really best suited to those with a normal, oily or oily/combination skin type. The foundation itself seems to prevent the oily t-zone causing problems as well so for me, these products really work well together. On my skin type, this combined with a light moisturiser underneath really helps the All Hours matte finish foundation glide on smoothly without the problem of my dehydrated skin trying to soak up the foundation during the day. I tend to find them too drying if they last all day, or they start breaking up and looking awful as the day goes on. For reference, I have a dehydrated, combination skin type that can be a bit of a pain when it comes to long lasting foundations. I received this along with the All Hours foundation as they were launched together and sort of go together. First off, the bottle is quite large and you get quite a lot of product for your money - something everyone appreciates when purchasing from a high end brand!
